Who we are and what we do

Lot owners within the Ranchos subdivision are members of HRRMC and are required by court order to pay the annual road assessment.  We are attached to your property deed and each lot owns 1/1227 of the roadway.

The Hawaiian Ranchos Roads Maintenance Corporation (HRRMC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to maintaining and repairing the approximately 52 miles of private roadways within the Hawaiian Ranchos subdivision. HRRMC strives to manage this task in the most cost-effective manner, despite the rising costs of road materials tied to the increasing price of petroleum. Road maintenance includes services such as signage, line markings, patching, resurfacing, shoulder maintenance, and clearing of line-of-sight. All lot owners within the subdivision are members of the corporation, as per their deed to property.

HRRMC follows HRRMC Bylaws, HRS 421j, 414d, Articles of Incorporation and Roberts Rules.

CURRENT YEAR ASSESSMENTS.

Starting Jan. 2021 the annual road maintenance fee is $250 per lot owned.

HRRMC road fees are to be paid to Hawaiian Management Company. If you have not received this year’s statement of your fees in the mail, please contact Hawaiian Management Company. https://hawaiianranchosroadmaint.hmcmgt.com/

Unpaid Assessment Penalties

If the assessment is not paid by March 31st, a 10% late fee (12% annually) will be applied. Additional statement fees may also be added to unpaid accounts for further billing. If payments remain outstanding, the corporation will place a lien on the property, and a non-refundable fee will be charged to the account. Should the lien remain in place and the assessment continue to be unpaid, the corporation reserves the right to pursue all legal means to collect the debt, which may include a civil suit or foreclosure of the property.

The corporation makes every effort to avoid these actions and encourages property owners to address outstanding assessments promptly.
